Positions include entry level technicians through experienced foreman to become part of teams dedicated to safe, quality tower installation work. Position Requirements: - Willingness to climb towers and similar structures up to 400 ft. - Excellent physical conditioning and stamina. TITLE OF POSITION: Power Lead Technician (Traveling) LOCATION: U.S.A REPORTING MANAGER: Power Supervisor JOB SUMMARY: The Power Lead Technician position is responsible for performing the installation of various telecommunications equipment (specializing in DC power) in a professional and timely manner while maintaining the highest level of quality. The Power Lead Technician leads and directs the work of other technicians on the job site, while also acting as one of the primary installers. This position will also be required to perform the Supervisor's assigned duties and responsibilities when necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: - Minimum of 5 years of DC power installation or related industry experience - Successful completion of all Level 4 installation requirements as documented via GR 1275. - Field management experience supervising minimum of four (4) or more employees - Excellent interpersonal skills. - Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications including project. - Must be able to demonstrate the ability to read blue prints and write MOP's. - Strong communication, organizational, problem solving and planning skills. - Do what-ever-it-takes attitude a must! - Must have reliable transportation. - Must be willing to fly if required. - Must be willing to travel anywhere in the United States at anytime. TITLE OF POSITION: Major Account Executive LOCATION: NY State, New England, and Mid Atlantic region REPORTING MANAGER: VP & GM Duties: - Ensure post sales support is delivered - Generate new revenue focused on these areas in existing accounts Central Office and Datacenter build-outs, DC Power, Structured Cabling, Tower Services, and Communications Construction Services - The Major Account Executive will be responsible for developing an account plan that will result in achieving their first year goals and the development of a targeted pipeline for 2011 business worth $5 million. - A suitable account plan would include cold and warm phone calls, letters, email, mailings, tradeshows, and referrals. - Understand what a good fit customer looks like, what the capabilities and limitations and manage customer expectations to them. - Call prospective new opportunities and set discovery appointments in existing account base. - Pre-qualify prospects according to opportunities, pain, budget, and decision-making process. - Identify and coordinate with internal account team for the preparation and delivery of sales proposals - Present products and services to qualified opportunities with account staff in both face-to-face, and conference call settings. - Coordinate, manage and lead customers customer meetings and conference calls relating to the project - Manage the sales process from lead identification thru purchase order receipt, with a clear understanding of where they are in the process and clear next steps. - Manage the preparation and delivery of sales proposal - Organize and participate in kickoff meetings with new opportunities to the operations team and project management team. - Represent effectively and professionally at conferences and trade shows several times a year attended by the target market. - Build, maintain, and document all sales activities in CRM software and daily/weekly €œcookbook€¯ of activities. - Prepare for and participate in business development team and one-on-one meetings. - Be able to communicate effectively both formally and informally amongst the team, prospective customers, and accounts. - Participate in educational meetings on product development, product updates. - Work with management team to improve sales presentation. - Consistently meets productivity metrics mutually agreed upon with management team. - Day travel and overnight travel required at a minimum of 50% of the time, within the United States. This usually consists of uncovering opportunities with engineering management, specific engineers and project managers in existing departments or other departments within the existing organization. The account profiles include RBOC, IXC, Cable Companies, and Wireless Service Providers with annual capital or network operation budgets in excess of a million dollars. Adherence to timely delivery, project budget and network uptime for critical infrastructure projects will be a customer focus. The successful major account executive will have a history of managing and growing business with long sales cycles (3-12 months) which average at least $50,000 per transaction, and will finish 2010 with a minimum of $5 million dollars in revenue from assigned major accounts.
TITLE OF POSITION: Manager of Tower Services LOCATION: North- East, Mid-West & Mid-Atlantic Regions REPORTING MANAGER: VP & GM Duties: This position will have the P & L responsibility for all ANS Tower Service construction, implementation and maintenance activities. Position Requirements: - Direct project management and estimating experience associated with all phases of cell tower construction projects - Experience managing multi-faceted projects in the commercial construction field (telecommunications environment a plus) - Industry knowledge of cell tower construction standards and documentation - Abilities to read and interpret site specific engineering documentation and test records - Experience managing successful cell tower construction projects and developing job close out packages - Management knowledge of all phases of tower construction including but not limited to: quoting, budgeting, scheduling, subcontractor contract management, on-site field engineering, developing project documentation, etc. - Ability to interview and evaluate personnel associated with delivering tower services - Ability to grow and develop new project teams. - Ability manage sales team - Ability to act as a “Sales Engineer” for new client development - Ability to open new market areas for the tower services organization, including developing market plan, strategy, and budget - General working knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and MS Project (or similar scheduling software) - Construction estimating experience a plus - Effective client negotiation and follow-up - Excellent communication/problem-solving skills - Strong sense of urgency in dealing with client issues - Ability to manage costs for subcontractor change orders and client work orders - Ability to be meet project deadlines - Ability to monitor, manage and develop good working relationships with subcontractors - Ability to work reliably under minimum supervision - Ability to adapt to new client standards and practices Travel Requirement: 60% of time spent working out of main office or home office and 40% of time spent developing Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. Office location will be Albany, NY but travel throughout the service area will be required. Education requirement: Degree in construction, engineering, architecture or similar preferred or an equivalent combination of education and on-the-job experience. Experience requirement: 7 or more years of cell tower construction project management in general construction and/or telecommunications-related construction projects.
